Job Summary
The Traveling Electric Project Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing commercial and industrial electrical projects throughout the United States, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications and budgets. Key responsibilities include managing project phases, maintaining safety standards, coordinating with teams and stakeholders, monitoring financials, and overseeing project closeout activities. Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years in commercial electrical project management, a strong understanding of NEC and local codes, and proficiency in relevant software. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial electrical project management experience
- Strong understanding of NEC, local building codes, and electrical construction methods
- Proficiency in project management and construction software such as Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, Revit, or similar tools
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, electrical schematics, and specifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Prior field experience as an electrician, foreman, or superintendent
- OSHA 30 certification and CPR/First Aid training
- Experience with design-build or fast-track commercial electrical projects
- Bilingual English/Spanish
