Job Summary
Monitor project billings, projections, and cash flow to ensure accuracy while preparing, processing, and maintaining all files, correspondence, schedules, reports, and billing necessary for contract performance. Direct and supervise general foremen, foremen, and crews to comply with contracts, union agreements, and policies, while managing assigned projects economically through purchasing, engineering, subletting, and installation planning. Assist with cost codes, estimating, and project comparisons to identify concerns and work with senior leadership to improve overall project health. Attend monthly meetings to review financial standing with the project team, partners, and customers. This role requires co-location at project sites with a travel package aligned to the Hunt Electric traveling plan.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 8+ years managing complex electrical projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery
- Deep understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and codes (e.g., NEC, OSHA)
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, mentor staff, and align efforts with project goals
- Skilled in resource allocation, cost control, and maximizing profitability
- Expertise in identifying risks, resolving conflicts, and ensuring smooth execution
- Strong communication and relationship-building with clients, vendors, and stakeholders
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Bluebeam, Accubid Enterprise) and electrical schematics
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory standards in the electrical industry
- Track record of delivering large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects
- Willing and able to co-locate at the project location with travel package that aligns with the Hunt Electric traveling plan
