Job Summary
Traveling Direct Support worker providing person-centered care to individuals with intellectual and related disabilities in multiple South Carolina communities. Responsibilities include supporting individuals to develop skills for independence, helping them participate in community activities, documenting services, assisting with medication administration as required, advocating for clients’ rights, and maintaining positive relationships with individuals, families, and coworkers. Requires a high school diploma or GED or 1 year of prior experience and a valid South Carolina driver’s license. This is a night shift role (North End, 3rd shift) with full-time hours and offered benefits.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma, GED, or 1 years’ previous experience working with intellectually disabled adults in a Residential setting
- A valid South Carolina driver’s license with a good driving record
