Job Summary
Escort patients to and from the front desk, introduce them to team members, and prepare them for treatment while assisting clinicians in delivering efficient, quality dental care. Sterilize instruments, disinfect equipment, and maintain clean, sterile operatory environments in accordance with state infection control guidelines. Prepare tray setups, maintain supply levels, and complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed. Record patient charting and notes in the digital patient chart, present treatment records and consents to clinicians, and instruct patients on postoperative care. Participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and any other required meetings. Travel to multiple offices per day, sometimes several times, using a reliable driver's license, automobile insurance, or alternate transportation as required.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration

- Ability to interact with other Clinicians and Owner Doctors effectively
- Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedure manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and governmental regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively and present information, both verbally and in writing, to patients and co-workers
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form
