Job Summary
Experienced Crane Operator needed to operate heavy equipment on construction projects. Responsibilities include safe and efficient operation of cranes, equipment maintenance and basic repairs, coordinating with crew members and subcontractors to meet schedule and budget, maintaining safety procedures, and identifying issues to keep projects on track. Must be able to read construction plans, communicate effectively with varying audiences, and contribute to improving project data and outcomes. Equal Opportunity Employer; location in Columbia, MO.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in heavy equipment operation preferred
- 3+ years of experience operating a crane in a construction setting
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong communication skills across diverse audiences
- Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze project data
- Experience with government contracts and compliance is a plus
