Job Summary
Oversee all onsite construction activities for commercial projects including retail, restaurant, and federal builds from groundbreaking through closeout. Direct subcontractors, vendors, and field crews to maintain productivity while enforcing company safety policies, conducting daily meetings, and ensuring OSHA compliance. Develop short-term look-ahead schedules, coordinate material deliveries, and manage punch list completion to keep projects on schedule. Maintain daily reports on manpower, progress, and weather, and communicate field updates to the Project Manager. Requires 90-100% nationwide travel with multi-shift work possible; compensation ranges from $90,000 to $120,000.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
- 7+ years of construction experience
- 3+ years as a Superintendent for a General Contractor
- Experience managing commercial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
- OSHA 30 certification
- First Aid / CPR certification
- 90-100% nationwide travel
- Multi-shift work availability
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- Experience with Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera P6)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- General Contractor license
- LEED experience
