Job Summary
Oversee all onsite construction activities, directing subcontractors and field crews to maintain productivity and progress across commercial projects. Develop short-term look-ahead schedules, coordinate material deliveries and labor, and identify issues early to avoid delays. Enforce safety policies through daily meetings, inspections, and hazard analysis while ensuring work meets plans and quality standards. Manage subcontractor performance, coordinate trades to prevent conflicts, and maintain daily reports on manpower, progress, and safety. Complete punch lists, manage final inspections, and coordinate site demobilization and turnover. Requires 90-100% nationwide travel and multi-shift work; compensation ranges from $90,000 to $120,000.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
- 7+ years of construction experience
- 3+ years as a Superintendent for a General Contractor
- Experience managing commercial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
- OSHA 30 certification
- First Aid / CPR certification
- 90-100% nationwide travel
- Multi-shift work availability
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- Experience with Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera P6)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- General Contractor license
- LEED experience
