Job Summary

Conduct daily site operations by scheduling, producing, and procuring materials, manpower, and equipment. Supervise all direct labor and manage contracted work to ensure successful project completion. Coordinate pre-construction meetings, direct procurement of tools, and inspect progress to confirm adherence to specifications and schedules. Resolve construction problems by conferring with supervisory personnel, engineers, and subcontractors to improve methods and prevent delays. Manage labor costs through crew mix adjustments and work assignments while ensuring safety policies, quality standards, and housekeeping requirements are maintained. This full-time traveling role supports projects across the United States, requiring a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to assigned project sites.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in ground-up light industrial or commercial construction projects
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction processes
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel to and from the project site
  • Understanding and application of building codes and other design requirements
  • Ability to read blueprints accurately
  • Good understanding and knowledge of subcontractors' scopes of work and tolerances
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to express ideas clearly and effectively
