Job Summary
Manage daily job site operations across the United States, including scheduling, production, and procurement of materials, manpower, and equipment. Supervise all direct labor positions and oversee contracted work to ensure successful project completion. Coordinate pre-construction meetings, develop look-ahead schedules, and direct procurement to align with work timelines. Inspect progress, resolve construction problems, and communicate updates to clients, subcontractors, and craft personnel. Manage labor costs, crew mixes, and personnel assignments while enforcing safety, quality, and company policies. This full-time traveling role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to assigned project sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in ground-up light industrial or commercial construction projects
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction processes
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel to and from the project site
- Ability to understand and apply building codes and other design requirements correctly
- Ability to read blueprints accurately
- Good understanding and knowledge of subcontractors' scopes of work and tolerances
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to express ideas clearly and effectively
- Proper grammar and syntax
- Good administrative skills
- Ability to monitor the progress and coordination of work activities
