Job Summary
Lead day-to-day field operations for active/occupied detention facility projects, supervising craft personnel, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure construction meets design, budget, and schedule. Interpret drawings, recommend construction methods, and authorize project transactions while enforcing rigorous safety procedures and documenting violations. Coordinate on-site functions, manage productivity, and interface with client representatives across Georgia, Florida, and the Carolinas. Requires 8-10+ years of supervisory experience and ability to travel throughout the Southeast.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of supervisory experience in the construction field
- Strong experience leading active/occupied detention facility projects
- Ability to travel to project assignments throughout Florida
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, and methods)
- Thorough knowledge of all safety requirements
- Thorough knowledge and exposure within prison systems as field supervisor
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
- Flexibility to travel more broadly across the Southeast
