Job Summary
Diagnose and resolve issues on commercial HVAC systems, perform preventative maintenance, and fine-tune system performance for energy efficiency. Build strong client relationships by addressing service concerns and delivering high-quality communication. Coordinate with internal teams for scheduling, complete service reports and work orders, and serve as a resource for junior technicians. Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours support and follow all safety guidelines and regulatory requirements. Travel nationwide to high-profile data centers and regional commercial sites, utilizing provided tools and PPE.
Required Qualifications
- Own vehicle
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
- EPA Universal Certification
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Physical capability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various field conditions including rooftops and tight spaces
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
- Clear and effective communication with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
- Capability to review work for accuracy and make necessary adjustments in the field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with systems such as chillers, hydronic systems, VRF, RTUs, packaged equipment or mission-critical cooling systems
- OEM-specific training or certifications
- Skilled in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and interpreting service manuals and schematics
- Professional, team-focused mindset
