Traveling Commercial HVAC Install Foreman

Job Summary
Lead and supervise commercial HVAC installation crews on projects ranging from rooftop units to large-scale mechanical systems throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, and Eastern Texas. Coordinate daily activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget while reading blueprints and installing, modifying, and troubleshooting equipment. Conduct jobsite safety meetings, manage manpower and subcontractors, perform quality control inspections, and train installers and apprentices. Maintain accurate job documentation and reports. This union position requires weekly travel from Monday through Thursday/Friday with company-paid per diem and offers a vehicle, gas card, and pension.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of commercial HVAC installation experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Foreman, Lead Installer, or Field Supervisor
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, ductwork installation, refrigeration principles, and mechanical construction practices
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings
- Proven leadership and crew management experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel weekly and stay overnight as required
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
