Job Summary
Lead culinary operations across multiple healthcare and assisted living communities by traveling regularly to assess, support, and coach kitchen teams. Execute menus, ensure food safety and sanitation compliance, and maintain consistent quality standards while managing inventory and vendor specifications. Conduct hands-on training on cooking techniques and portion control, monitor resident feedback, and address staffing shortages or operational turnarounds as needed. Ensure all meals meet nutritional and dietary requirements for senior populations.
Required Qualifications
- at least a high school education or equivalent
- Two (2) years dietary experience
- Experience working with senior adults or healthcare populations
- Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities
- ServSafe certification or equivalent food-safety credential
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Dietary Manager (strongly preferred)
- Experience managing multiple culinary locations or traveling to cook
- Experience with inventory, purchasing, and menu management is a plus
