Traveling Bilingual Safety Manager

Job Summary
Conduct weekly documented jobsite safety inspections, administer and record orientations for new project workers, and facilitate training to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local requirements. Assist in developing a zero injury safety culture by reviewing subcontractor safety programs, establishing toolbox meetings, and identifying trends to execute proactive safety initiatives. Stop work immediately for any violations or unsafe practices, investigate incidents, and generate proper reports while promoting daily stretch and flex programs. This full-time traveling position requires OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation and at least three years of safety experience in building construction.
Required Qualifications
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
- Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
