Traveling Bilingual Safety Manager

Job Summary
Conduct weekly documented jobsite safety inspections, facilitate training for site personnel, and establish orientation programs for new project workers. Assist in developing the project safety program by reviewing subcontractor safety plans, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local requirements, and executing proactive initiatives to eliminate incidents. Investigate all incidents, generate proper reports, and stop unsafe acts immediately while maintaining required safety records. This full-time traveling position requires strong leadership skills, OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation, and at least three years of safety experience in building construction.
Required Qualifications
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
- Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
