Traveling Bilingual Safety Manager

Job Summary
Conduct weekly documented jobsite safety inspections, review subcontractor daily pre-task safety analyses, and establish orientation programs for all new project workers. Facilitate training for site personnel ensuring compliance with OSHA and Federal standards, while actively promoting daily stretch and flex programs. Identify project trends to execute proactive safety initiatives, coach workers on safe methods, and stop any violations or unsafe acts immediately. Investigate all incidents, generate proper reports, and maintain comprehensive safety records. This full-time traveling position requires strong leadership skills, at least three years of construction safety experience, and an OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation.
Required Qualifications
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
- Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
