Traveling Bilingual Safety Manager

Job Summary
Conduct weekly documented jobsite safety inspections, review subcontractor daily pre-task safety analyses, and establish new project worker orientations. Facilitate training for site personnel, ensure compliance with OSHA standards, and maintain logs of toolbox meetings. Investigate incidents, generate reports, and stop unsafe acts immediately while promoting proactive safety initiatives like near miss reporting. Assist the Project Superintendent with fire prevention procedures and attend monthly safety briefings. This full-time traveling position requires strong leadership skills, at least three years of construction safety experience, and OSHA 30-hour accreditation.
Required Qualifications
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
- Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
