Traveling Bilingual Safety Manager

Job Summary
Conduct weekly documented jobsite safety inspections, administer orientations for new project workers, and facilitate training ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local standards. Assist in developing the project safety program, review subcontractor safety programs, and establish designated safety representatives. Stop work immediately for any violations or unsafe acts, investigate incidents, and generate proper reports. Maintain required safety records and logs, including toolbox meetings and pre-planning meetings with subcontractors. Execute proactive safety initiatives to eliminate incidents and promote a zero injury culture. This full-time traveling position requires strong leadership skills, at least three years of safety experience in building construction, and OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation.
Required Qualifications
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
- Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
