Traveling Bilingual Safety Manager

Job Summary
Execute weekly documented jobsite safety inspections, conduct pre-planning and regular safety meetings with project staff and subcontractor representatives, and facilitate training ensuring compliance with OSHA and Federal standards. Assist in developing the project safety program, establish orientations for new employees, and review subcontractor safety programs to identify trends and eliminate incidents. Stop unsafe acts immediately, investigate all incidents, and report violations following established protocols while promoting a zero injury culture through proactive initiatives and hazard reporting. This full-time traveling position requires strong leadership skills, OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation, and at least three years of safety experience in building construction.
Required Qualifications
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
