Traveling Bilingual Safety Manager

Job Summary
Conduct weekly documented jobsite safety inspections, review subcontractor daily pre-task safety analyses, and establish orientation programs for new project workers. Facilitate training for site personnel, document toolbox meetings, and ensure all activities comply with Federal, State, and Local requirements. Stop unsafe acts immediately, investigate incidents, and generate proper reports while promoting a zero injury safety culture. Assist the Project Superintendent with fire prevention procedures and maintain all required safety records. This full-time traveling position requires strong leadership skills, OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation, and at least three years of safety experience in building construction.
Required Qualifications
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
