Traveling Bilingual Safety Manager

Job Summary
Conduct weekly documented jobsite safety inspections, review subcontractor daily pre-task safety analyses, and establish and conduct regular safety meetings with project staff and subcontractor representatives. Facilitate training for site personnel to ensure compliance with OSHA and Federal standards, while actively promoting a zero injury safety culture through near miss reporting and hazard identification. Administer new employee orientations, maintain required safety records, and investigate incidents to generate proper reports. Stop unsafe acts immediately and assist the Project Superintendent in implementing fire prevention procedures. This full-time traveling position requires strong leadership skills and at least three years of safety experience in building construction.
Required Qualifications
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
