Traveling Bilingual Safety Manager

Job Summary
Execute weekly documented jobsite safety inspections and conduct daily/weekly meetings with project staff and subcontractor representatives to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local requirements. Assist in developing a zero injury safety culture by facilitating training, reviewing subcontractor safety programs, and identifying trends to execute proactive initiatives. Establish and conduct orientations for new employees, administer participation logs, and issue identification. Investigate incidents, generate reports, and stop unsafe acts immediately while promoting near miss reporting and stretch/flex programs. Maintain all required safety records and logs. This full-time traveling position requires OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation and three years of safety experience in building construction.
Required Qualifications
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
