Traveling Bilingual Safety Manager

Job Summary
Conduct weekly documented jobsite safety inspections, review subcontractor daily pre-task safety analyses, and establish and conduct regular safety meetings with project staff and subcontractor representatives. Facilitate training for site personnel to ensure compliance with OSHA and Federal, State, and Local requirements, while actively promoting daily stretch and flex programs. Assist in developing a zero injury safety culture by coaching workers on safe methods, reporting incidents, and stopping unsafe acts immediately. Investigate all incidents, generate proper reports, and maintain all required safety records. This full-time traveling position requires at least three years of safety experience in building construction and OSHA 30-hour accreditation.
Required Qualifications
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
- Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
