Traveling Bilingual Safety Manager

Job Summary
Conduct weekly documented jobsite safety inspections, facilitate training for site personnel, and establish orientation programs for new employees. Review subcontractor safety programs, designate trained safety representatives, and ensure all activities comply with Federal, State, and Local requirements. Stop unsafe acts immediately, investigate incidents, and generate proper reports while maintaining comprehensive safety logs. Assist the Project Superintendent with fire prevention procedures and promote a zero injury culture through proactive initiatives and hazard reporting. This full-time traveling position requires OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation and three years of safety experience in building construction.
Required Qualifications
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
- Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
