Job Summary
Traveling Associate Dentist delivers full-scope clinical care across multiple Tend studios within the market, treating a dynamic mix of cases and leading treatment planning with a hospitality-driven patient experience. Responsibilities include providing restorative services (including inlays/onlays, crowns, veneers), endodontics, extractions, implants, cosmetic dentistry, and overseeing comprehensive exams. Role supports leadership in clear aligner and sleep-therapy offerings, with emphasis on diagnosing, planning, and delivering high-quality dental care across diverse teams and studios. Requires DDS/DMD, active license, CPR/BLS, DEA registration, Invisalign certification, and a minimum of 2 years post-residency experience; ability to work 4-5 days per week across multiple studios; strong collaboration with clinical and operational teams, and a focus on consistent, high-quality outcomes while maintaining a flexible schedule. Compensation includes a guaranteed daily rate and tiered percentage of adjusted production, with a 30–40% share for traveling associates.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Current, active dental license in the state you’re applying for
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Active DEA registration
- Associate Dentists - Minimum 2 years of experience (post residency) in private practice, DSO, or similar setting
- Invisalign certification
- Ability to work a Full Time schedule consisting of 4-5 days per week (no Saturdays)
