Job Summary
Manage field operations for commercial construction projects by overseeing subcontractors, laborers, and team members while maintaining daily focus on job site safety and perimeter security. Coordinate task completion with trade partners, verify dimensions and layouts, and ensure all submittals are completed timely. Support the Superintendent with 3-week look-ahead schedules, monitor project costs including labor and materials, and coordinate site testing and inspection efforts. Update daily logs and photos, communicate professionally with clients and architects, and participate in weekly project and subcontractor meetings. This role requires flexibility for day or night shifts and travel across the East Coast.
Required Qualifications
- Must have two years of professional experience in the Construction industry or Trades
- Valid drivers license required
- Proven experience managing complex construction projects on short timetables
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
- Proficiency in reading commercial construction plans and specifications
- Collaborative and team-oriented
- High school diploma required
- Microsoft Office experience required
Desired Qualifications
- trade school or college education preferred
- 10 or 30 Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certification preferred
- Ability to work with tools to perform various phases of construction work is a plus
- Procore experience highly preferred
- Basic working knowledge of Zoom or MS Teams
