Traveling Assistant Superintendent (Light Industrial)

Job Summary
Assist the Superintendent and Project Manager in executing construction projects; oversee subcontractor coordination; prepare comprehensive daily construction reports with weather conditions and photos; maintain on-site cost-tracking logs; interact with subcontractors professionally; proactively schedule work to prevent delays; prepare daily/weekly safety reports and attend safety meetings; prepare and review project documents, submittals, and turnover matrices; develop the project punch-list with the PM and ensure its completion within two weeks; take on various tasks to reduce the superintendent’s workload and gain exposure to multiple tasks and processes; require strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills and familiarity with MS Office and Procore.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, or preferably a Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 2 years of experience training with a general contractor, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project) and experience with Procore
- Strong communication skills including listening, presenting, interpersonal and written
- People and project management skills and abilities
- A safety champion who leads by example
