Job Summary
Traveling Apprentice responsible for supporting field installation crews across multiple job sites while learning to grow within GarageCo. Role emphasizes hands-on work, assisting the Foreman and team, learning to read blueprints, understanding installation processes, and upholding safety standards (OSHA 10). Travel required for extended periods (up to 6–8 weeks), with daily duties including equipment setup, material handling, jobsite organization, and maintaining professional communication with customers and general contractors. Must possess a valid driver's license, an acceptable MVR for insurance, and relevant certifications ( forklift, man lift/boom lift, OSHA 10, rigging ). Welding experience is preferred with training provided. Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to travel, adapt to changing environments, and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License
- Must have an accepted MVR to be added to our auto insurance policy
- Forklift certification
- Man lift / boom lift certification
- OSHA 10 certification
- Rigging experience and/or certification
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems
- Welding experience preferred, training provided if needed
- Ability to work well with others and take direction from a Foreman
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work professionally with customers and GCs
- Ability to pass a background check
