Job Summary
The Travel Youth Care Worker (ICE Transport) is responsible for the safe transportation of unaccompanied minors and/or families while ensuring humane treatment following established policies and procedures. This role includes providing orientation, maintaining safety and security during transport, and communication with various stakeholders. Applicants must possess relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and be bilingual in English and Spanish. Flexibility in schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of documented experience in a field related to law, social work, detention, corrections, or similar
- Certification, licensure, and credentials applicable to the professional accreditation of the position if applicable
- Ability to pass and maintain a Government Security Background Investigation
- Valid and current driver's license with a safe driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills in MS Office
- Experience working with inventory and surveillance software
Additional Requirements
- Must be available for domestic and international travel
- Must obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Exam Certification
- Must show proof of US passport book or be in the process of obtaining one
