Job Summary
Operates x-ray equipment and related devices to perform radiologic exams per departmental SOPs; prepares patients, positions them, and adjusts exposure while maintaining safety and patient comfort. Maintains documentation, logs, and labeling of images, transfers images to appropriate media, and ensures proper identification. Requires ARRT registration, NY/CT licensure, and at least 1 year of radiologic-exam experience; travel/X-ray tech role with potential shift hours including 12am-8am and rotating weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- New York State and/or Connecticut Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration
- Minimum of one (1) year experience performing radiologic exams
