Job Summary
Perform invasive and non-invasive obstetric and gynecological ultrasound procedures to diagnose and manage high-risk pregnancies. Examine and interview patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders, then administer respiratory treatments including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy. Set up and monitor equipment to ensure correct oxygen delivery, while observing and recording patient status and progress. Assist in adjusting treatment plans under physician guidance and educate patients on medication use and equipment operation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide detailed findings to consulting providers. Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
- Minimum of one year of experience as a High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations
- Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification (ARDMS)
- Current ARRT Certification in Sonography
- Critical thinking
