Job Summary
The Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) - Gen/Vascular performs ultrasound examinations of general and vascular studies using high-frequency sound waves, preparing and positioning patients, analyzing sonograms for diagnostic purposes, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate imaging into patient care plans. Requires completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, at least one year of ultrasound experience, current BLS, and valid ultrasound licensure; preferred ARDMS/ARRT certifications. Must maintain equipment calibration and safety standards, document findings, and work in a fast-paced clinical setting; duties include image acquisition, evaluation for clarity/accuracy, and patient safety throughout procedures. Travel assignment located in Durango, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
- Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations
