Job Summary
Perform diagnostic sonography examinations of general and vascular studies using high-frequency sound waves to generate images of internal organs and blood vessels. Prepare and position patients for accurate imaging while evaluating sonograms for diagnostic clarity. Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into patient care plans and maintain accurate documentation. This 13-week travel assignment in Tulsa, Oklahoma requires a licensed Ultrasound Technologist with at least one year of recent experience and current BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
- Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations
- Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification (ARDMS)
- Current ARRT certification in sonography
- Other certifications or licenses
