Job Summary
Perform general and vascular ultrasound examinations by calibrating equipment, positioning patients for accurate imaging, and analyzing sonograms for diagnostic clarity. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into patient care plans while maintaining precise documentation and ensuring equipment compliance with safety standards. Work efficiently in fast-paced environments to cope with irregular schedules and continuous concentration to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
- Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations
- Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification (ARDMS)
- Current ARRT certification in sonography
- Other certifications or licenses
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
