Job Summary
Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations of general and vascular studies, preparing and positioning patients to ensure accurate imaging and their comfort. Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy while calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting ultrasound equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into patient care plans and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal standards. Work efficiently in fast-paced environments while applying critical thinking to perform procedures effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
- Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations
- Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification (ARDMS)
- Current ARRT certification in sonography
- Other certifications or licenses

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
