Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic sonography examinations of general and vascular studies, preparing and positioning patients to ensure accurate imaging and their comfort. Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment while evaluating images for clarity and accuracy. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into patient care plans and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Perform procedures effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while adhering to safety standards and technical protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
- Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations
- Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification (ARDMS)
- Current ARRT certification in Sonography
- Current credential from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Critical thinking

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
