Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic sonography examinations of general and vascular studies using high-frequency sound waves to generate images of internal organs and blood vessels. Prepare and position patients for accurate imaging while evaluating sonograms for clarity and diagnostic purposes. Calibrate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure functionality and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to integrate imaging into patient care plans while working efficiently in fast-paced environments.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
- Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations
- Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification (ARDMS)
- Current ARRT certification in Sonography
- Current credential from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Critical thinking

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
