Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy duty fleet vehicles, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards. Accurately document repairs and complete work orders while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations. This 100% traveling position requires 5+ years of diesel vehicle experience, ASE certification reimbursement eligibility, and a valid driver's license. Schedule involves 10 days of travel followed by 5 days off.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' of hands-on experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position
- Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)
- Must be able to lift heavy objects
- Must be able to access tight spaces
- Must be able to bend, stooping, crouching, or crawling as needed to complete repairs
