Job Summary
The Travel Team Member Service Specialist at TowneBank is responsible for opening new accounts, performing account maintenance, interviewing members, and matching their needs to bank products. The role involves completing documentation, assisting members in person and over the phone, adhering to security guidelines, and supporting the teller line as needed. Candidates should possess two years of bank teller experience, excellent customer service skills, strong telephone skills, and basic computer proficiency. Physical demands may include lifting up to 25 pounds and working in a sedentary environment.
Required Qualifications
- Two years bank teller experience is highly desired
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong telephone skills
- Ability to learn new processes effectively
- Ability to listen well and resolve member issues
- Able to multi-task on a daily basis
- Basic computer skills including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to keep cash drawer in balance
- Ability to accurately process monetary transactions in a timely fashion
- Ability to work as an integral team player
- Punctuality is a must
