Travel Surgical Tech Job

Travel Surgical Tech needed for a 13-week hospital assignment in Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room with proper sterile technique, arranging instruments, supplies, and equipment for scheduled procedures; maintaining sterile fields during procedures; performing instrument and sponge counts and communicating findings; passing instruments to the surgeon and scrub person; assisting with setup, turnover, and post-case cleanup; assisting with patient positioning, transportation within the OR, and required documentation. Requirements: travel assignment experience required; Level 1 Trauma experience in a surgical setting preferred; burn care experience preferred; ability to work Day shift with on-call coverage including weekends and holidays; experience in a high-volume surgical environment; must be able to work in a hospital setting.
