Job Summary
Evaluate and monitor patient progress, identifying sudden or subtle changes in medical condition. Calculate drug dosage, titrate medication doses, administer continuous medication infusions, and monitor patients for medication effects. Collaborate closely with physicians and all healthcare professionals to provide care in transitional units for patients transitioning from med-surg floors to intensive care. Work three twelve-hour night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Stepdown RN
- Evaluate and monitor patient's progress, identifying sudden or subtle changes in the patient's medical condition
- Calculate drug dosage, titrate medication doses, administer continuous medication infusion and monitor patients for effects of medication
- Work closely and collaborate with physicians and all other healthcare professionals
- Shift: 3x12 Nights
