Job Summary
Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats communication and swallowing disorders across age groups; designs personalized therapy programs based on evaluations and patient goals; documents progress in the electronic medical record; educates patients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies and safe swallowing practices; collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care; maintains infection control and safety standards; participates in quality assurance and professional development activities; travel assignment for 13 weeks in Lexington Park, MD. Requires active Speech Language Pathologist license and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology and CCC-SLP.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification ( AHA/ARC )
