Job Summary
The Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats communication and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population in a 13-week travel assignment. Responsibilities include designing personalized therapy programs, utilizing standardized assessments, documenting progress in the EMR, educating patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, maintaining infection control and regulatory standards, and pursuing ongoing professional development. Requires active SLP license and BLS; Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and CCC-SLP are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification ( AHA/ARC )
