Job Summary
The Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient ages. They design personalized therapy programs based on evaluations and evidence-based practices, continuously assess progress, and adjust treatment plans while maintaining detailed documentation in the EMR. They educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies and safe swallowing practices, collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and ensure a safe treatment environment through infection control and regulatory standards. The role supports quality assurance and professional development activities and performs other duties as assigned within the scope of practice during a 13-week travel assignment in Jamestown, ND.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification ( AHA/ARC )
