Job Summary
Travel Speech-Language Pathologist for a 14-week assignment in Middletown, RI. The SLP evaluates, diagnoses, and treats communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations; designs individualized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and evidence-based practices; maintains detailed documentation in the EMR; educates patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing; collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams; adheres to infection-control and regulatory standards; engages in quality assurance and professional development; performs duties within the scope of practice as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
