Job Summary
Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week assignment in Hattiesburg, MS. The SLP evaluates, diagnoses, and treats communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations, designs personalized therapy programs, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include using standardized assessments, maintaining detailed documentation in the electronic medical record, educating patients and families on effective communication strategies and safe swallowing practices, adhering to infection-control and safety standards, contributing to quality assurance and professional development, and performing duties within the scope of practice. Requires state-appropriate SLP license and current BLS; Master’s degree and CCC-SLP are preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or higher of Speech Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
- Speech Language Pathology experience
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations
