Job Summary
The Travel Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population. They design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and evidence-based practices, continually assess progress, and adjust treatment plans. The role involves maintaining thorough documentation in the electronic medical record, educating patients and families on effective communication strategies and safe swallowing practices, collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, ensuring infection control and regulatory compliance, and engaging in quality assurance and professional development activities. Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
