Job Summary
Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week assignment in a facility in Hales Corners, WI. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations; designing personalized therapy programs; documenting progress in the electronic medical record; educating patients, families, and caregivers; collaborating with interdisciplinary teams; maintaining infection control and regulatory standards; engaging in quality assurance and professional development; and performing duties within the scope of practice. Must hold an active SLP license, current BLS, and CCC-SLP eligibility; Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology preferred. Strong clinical skills in assessment of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing; ability to implement evidence-based therapy, and support for patients through treatment and family education.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Master’s Degree or higher of Speech Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
- Speech Language Pathology experience or new grads welcome
- Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
