Job Summary
The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patients. Develops individualized therapy programs based on evaluations and goals, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, documents progress in the electronic medical record, educates patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices, adheres to infection control and regulatory standards, and participates in quality assurance and professional development activities. Performs duties within the scope of practice and supports continued patient care improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in Florida
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current licensure as Speech Language Pathologist in Florida
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Speech Language Pathology experience; new graduates welcome to apply
