Job Summary
Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations. Develop and implement individualized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and evidence-based practices; continuously assess progress and update documentation in the electronic medical record. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies and safe swallowing practices; collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care; maintain a safe treatment environment with adherence to infection control and regulatory standards; participate in quality assurance and professional development activities. Requires state license as an SLP and current BLS; Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred; CCC-SLP and additional certifications may be required for this position. Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification ( AHA/ARC )
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
- Speech Language Pathology experience, but New Grads are welcome to apply
- Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
